Blue Jays fans freak out over possible Stroman-Sanchez feud
There may be many close friendships in the Toronto Blue Jays clubhouse, but there is no bromance as famous as the one shared by starting pitchers Marcus Stroman and Aaron Sanchez.
Stroman and Sanchez have been presented as a virtually inseparable duo, seen together on and off the field and all over social media. They can be Harold and Kumar, Murtaugh and Riggs, or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid depending on your movie-going preferences.
The pair has not shied away from this depiction, which has bred an attachment to it by the Blue Jays faithful.

That’s why all hell broke loose on Thursday when the notion that a gulf could be opening between them gained some traction.
An observant Reddit user going by “sugardaddymac” noticed the two had stopped following each other across multiple social media platforms:
That observation spawned a robust message thread on the topic, which leaked over to Twitter as well.
Sanchez and Stroman were best friends + did everything together, now there's evidence they don't talk,This Blue Jays team is falling apart????

Realistically, the idea of a Sanchez-Stroman feud seems more likely to be the product of an off-season that’s moving at a leisurely pace than anything substantive.
The only thing lending any credibility to the narrative is the recent announcement that Sanchez has switched agents to Scott Boras. Even so, it doesn’t seem clear how such a move would open a rift between the two Blue Jays starters.
For now it’s going to take a little more evidence before it’s safe to say there’s a feud going on here. More likely than not, come Spring Training Blue Jays fans will be looking at the same “StroChez” they know and love.
