Blue Jackets Lose To Flames On Emotional Night In Calgary

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Calgary Flames played a hockey game on a very emotional night. The Calgary Flames honored the lives of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau with friends and family in attendance. The hockey game was the least of everyone's worries last night but unfortunately, it had to be played.

The Flames and Blue Jackets split the season series, with each team winning on home ice in five days. A fitting end to the series between the two heavy-hearted teams.

Last night was all about the Gaudreau Family, and Calgary rose to the occasion. Hats off to the Flames Organization and fans. Columbus is with you.

Johnny Gaudreau was the First Star of the game.
