Blue Jackets Draft Pick Guillaume Richard Nominated For 2025 Hobey Baker Award
Providence College senior defenseman and Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick Guillaume Richard has been named as a 2025 Hobey Baker Award nominee.
Current Blue Jackets forward Adam Fantilli won the Hobey Baker in 2023, and Johnny Gaudreau won it in 2014.
Richard was drafted in the 4th round of the 2021 NHL Draft.

Richard has seven assists this season and has 31 blocks. In four years at Providence, he's played 124 games, scored 7 goals, and totaled 47 points.
Guillaume Richard has to be signed by the CBJ by August 15, 2025, or risk losing him to free agency.
