Blue Jackets' 2024-25 Christmas Wish List

Dear Santa,

We hope this letter finds you well up in the North Pole.

Things down here haven’t been easiest this year, but we’re hanging in there.

As you load up your sleigh and check your list twice, we were wondering if you could spare a little extra Christmas magic for us this season?

Our Wishlist:

1. We need more scoring

Preferably, a reliable finisher, someone who can light the lamp when it matters most. A consistent goalscorer could really make the difference for us.

2. We’re wishing for a healthy blue line

It feels like our defense has spent more time on the IR than on the ice. A season without constant injuries would be a dream come true—and it’d help us give our goalies a break too.

3. We would love a winning streak!

Even just a few games in a row would work wonders for the team’s confidence and momentum. We’ve got the pieces, but we need that extra push to get things going.

4. We are asking for Elvis Merzlikins to stay hot

He’s been such a bright spot for us, and we’d love for him to stay in the zone. A little more consistency in net would go a long way for us this season.

We know it’s a big ask, Santa, but we’ve been working hard and keeping our spirits up. A little help from you could make all the difference.

Thanks in advance, and enjoy the cookies and milk!

Sincerely,
The Columbus Blue Jackets fans
