Blackburn set to be without attacking duo for derby
Blackburn are set to be without Japan international Yuki Ohashi and could also be missing midfielder Todd Cantwell for Saturday's East Lancashire derby against Burnley.
Ohashi was injured in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Leeds United following a challenge by Jayden Bogle that forced the striker to leave the field after 38 minutes. Cantwell missed that match through illness.
"Ochan [Ohashi] came off after about 20 minutes yesterday and has gone for a scan this morning. We're just waiting for his results," manager John Eustace told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"I didn't think it was a particularly good challenge so hopefully it won't be too long for him to be out.
"It was very swollen this morning in the treatment room. I'd be very surprised if he makes the game.
"Toddy didn't train again today. He's been affected really badly by this virus so we'll see how he is tomorrow. We'll just have to wait and see."
Blackburn are already missing defenders Scott Wharton, Hayden Carter and Harry Pickering and midfielder Lewis Travis, while forward Arnor Sigurdsson is facing a few more weeks out.
