Blackburn Rovers re-sign Everton midfielder Settle on loan
Blackburn Rovers have re-signed Everton midfielder Macy Settle on a loan deal which will run until the end of the season.
The Lancashire club announced the news via a post on their official club X account this evening.
The 17-year-old returns to Ewood Park after enjoying a short loan spell with Rovers during the first half of the season. Settle started the 2024/2025 Barclays Women’s Championship campaign with Rovers. She made three appearances for the club before being recalled by parent club Everton. With Everton having made some strong January transfer window additions, the club have allowed Settle to return to Blackburn Rovers on loan and continue her development in the second half of the season.
Settle has come through Everton’s youth ranks. She made her senior debut for The Blue Girls in December 2023 in a Merseyside derby fixture against Liverpool in the group stage of the Subway Women’s League Cup. Settle has gone on to appear for Everton on five occasions to date.
Settle re-joins a Blackburn Rovers side that currently occupy ninth position in the Barclays Women’s Championship table. Simon Parker’s side have won two of their nine league matches so far this season and are four points clear of the relegation zone.
