Big Bruins Forward Out For Devils Matchup
Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco told reporters that Trent Frederic did not travel with the team and will be out against the New Jersey Devils.

Sacco shared that Frederic was still too sick to take the trip. The 2016 first-round pick did not play the Bruins' last game against the San Jose Sharks due to his illness as well.
It is certainly tough for the Bruins that Frederic is still not ready to go. He is a solid part of their bottom six due to his hard-nosed style of play and toughness. He also was starting to heat up before getting sick, posting a goal and an assist over his last three games.
Frederic will, of course, not be the only player out, as Charlie McAvoy, Cole Koepke, Mark Kastelic, and Hampus Lindholm are all still injured. Max Jones will slot into the Bruins' bottom six.
