While Simone Inzaghi’s squad didn’t witness drastic changes over the summer, Inter Milan had a complete revamp on the commercial front, striking a host of new official partnerships.

The Nerazzurri’s fortunes on the pitch have been on the rise over the last few campaigns. The Italian giants reached the Champions League final in 2022/23. Last season, they won the Serie A title by a landslide, leaving all of their rivals in the dust.

This restoration also paid dividends from an economic standpoint. Thanks to its growing exposure and improved results, the club has been able to attract new sponsors and negotiate more favorable terms. After all, Inzaghi’s men are tipped to go far in the Champions League according to some of the most prominent gambling providers online, including online casino Canada.

The most notable change on the commercial front concerns the main shirt sponsor. After seeing their deal with Paramount+ expire at the end of the season, Inter forged an agreement with Betsson Group.

The Swedish company is a betting giant which has also struck an agreement with Lega Serie A.

The Nerazzurri described this four-year contract as the biggest shirt sponsorship agreement in the club’s history.

The two parties have also managed to work their way around a regulation that prevents Italian clubs from displaying the names or logos of betting companies on their kits.

They did so by adopting the “Betsson Sport” name. This project is described as “an initiative created by Betsson Sport that aims to promote participating clubs”.

Inter Milan Struck Several New Commercial Partnerships In Recent Months

The Italian champions have also solidified their agreement with Qatar Airways. The prominent company has now become the club’s main training kit partner.

“The Qatar Airways logo will now be prominently featured on all training apparel and warm-up jerseys at all competitions, including Serie A, Coppa Italia, UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup 2025™,” reads the statement published on the club’s official website.

Moreover, Inter solidified their partnership with BPER who obtained the naming rights of the club’s training center at Appiano Gentile.

The training ground previously held the name of the club’s former majority owners Suning. But as Inter fans are well aware of, the Chinese group relinquished its shares in the club. This ensued after failing to repay their debt to Oaktree Capital who assumed control over the Nerazzurri.

This major event was also a key reason behind the commercial revamp at the club.
