Alexander Isak, speaking to TNT Sports:

On making it eight consecutive Premier League matches with a goal:

"I feel very good. My ambition is always to score, that’s the best way I can help the team. It’s a team performance, it’s not just what I do going forward. I think defending the goal as well we’ve been so solid lately. I’m really happy with the whole performance."

On whether this is the best version of himself:

"I don’t know. I know I feel very good. I feel like I’m taking steps all the time. I feel like I’ve developed as a player and obviously hungry for more. I’m happy but you have to keep working hard to stay at the same level and even do better. "

On how he executes his game so consistently:

"Obviously there’s going to be noise from the outside but with in the group it’s been peaceful and we’ve been very focused and concentrated on each game, and I think you can see that in the team performance. Everyone is doing a great job and it benefits the team."

Isak, speaking to Match of the Day:

"I feel amazing. Individually I feel free and confident but looking at the team we are doing so well as well, defending and with threats going forward. It is a team and I have to keep contributing with goals.

"When we play at our best the players will feel free. In my position as well I want to be able to express myself in the best way I can.

"Records are things you enjoy after your career. I go into every game with the same mentality - to score goals as that helps the team.

"It is about the team. We have been really good. I am happy to be a part of it."

Eddie Howe, speaking to TNT Sports:

On if he's pleased with the performance:

"Very pleased. I thought we had to keep going today. I thought Wolves played well. It’s always difficult against a back five when they defend as deep as they did in that first half to break them down, so we had to be patient today. I think it was a case of just waiting and controlling transitions. First half they had a couple of moments that were warning signs for us but overall I thought we handled the game really well."

On Alexander Isak:

"I think the first goal was key today. We needed it. I think he’ll probably say that he meant this [his first goal], the way things are going for him at the moment. He’s got that freedom and he’s picked the ball out wide left there, he’s got that freedom, and he’s a really good dribbler, so these moments, we encourage him to get on the ball as much as he can. He’s got a bit of luck with the deflection but he probably deserves it in the end."

On Isak having freedom on the ball:

"When you’ve got the technical skills that he has, I think it’s absolutely huge for us that we don’t ask him to be too central and static. We need him on the ball, we want him on the ball as much as possible in the attacking third, so he does have license and freedom within our structure to go and get the ball. But then he needs to score goals like this [second goal] as well. This is him in the middle of the goal and he’s scored a lot like that recently from crosses where he’s in between sticks and he puts it away really calmly."

On Isak's calmness:

"And that’s why he’s such a good player. That looks an easy finish, he makes it look easy, but it’s absolutely not because you might get one of those in a game, and we need him to take it. But he’s got that calmness which all of the top players have."

On the amount of work Isak does on the type of finish with which he scored his second goal:

"Like most strikers, he wants to practice his finishing. It’s an art form, so he’s there every day after training wanting to do more. I think the challenge for us is to get that balance. But he has a really good mentality to his training. Penalties, all the finishes he works on continuously. We’ve worked a lot on his heading ability and he’s scored a few headers this year, so it’s just trying to add to the array of goals that he needs."

On whether Isak is the most sought-after striker:

"Everyone tells me he is. I think he’s enjoying his football. We’re loving having him here, we love working with him, all I would urge him to do is focus on the next game."

On the midfield performance:

I thought Sandro [Tonali] was magnificent today. We always ask our midfielders to do a different job depending on our opposition, today he had a deeper role off the ball and I thought he did it absolutely brilliantly today. He followed it to the letter. He was putting out a lot of transition issues for us. But I thought our midfield was a key area, especially in the first half, we had a lot of the ball. I thought they all used the ball really well.

On whether he can enjoy the current form:

"I think you’ll talk to any manager and they’ll say the same thing. You enjoy it for a really short time, that’s already done for me, now I’m on to Bournemouth and thinking about how we need to play in that game. That’s always the way of this job, you’re looking to win, of course, but it’s always about the future and the next moment."

Howe, speaking to Match of the Day:

"We had to be patient and we had to play a different way slightly. We had a lot of the ball in the first half, we knew Wolves would be stubborn opponents. We got a lucky break with the first goal but overall I think we deserved it.

"Depending on how the game pans out you need different ways to win. The first goal was so important today, we had a few scares today, Wolves are difficult to play against.

"Overall can't be too picky, it is nine wins in a row now. We know we can play better than today, we did enough of the detailed work to get the win.

"There's a lot to be positive about and a lot to improve."

On Alexander Isak:

"It is one of his biggest strengths - his composure and level of finishing is at the highest level. He has the extra second of composure that players at the top level have."

Sven Botman, speaking to Premier League Productions:

"It is always nice to have people who can make goals out of nowhere.

"I am very happy for Alexander Isak [to score in eight Premier League games in a row]. The record for the Premier League is a bit higher so he should be looking at that now.

"The season is long but we have big targets. If we want to reach that you can see other teams are winning as well."
