The transfer window is over but there are still a number of free agents available to sign. Here are some of the best…

Adrien Rabiot

The 29-year-old midfielder is still without a club after leaving Juventus at the end of last season. The France international will surely find a club soon though after playing for his country at Euro 2024, with his experience and versatility making him an attractive proposition. He showed last year at Juventus that he is very capable of contributing to a high level.

Yusuf Yazıcı

The Turkish international impressed for Lille last season and also featured for his country at Euro 2024, but is still without a club. The attacking midfielder particularly shone in the Conference League, where he scored five goals in ten games and showcased his technical ability and creativity.

Anthony Martial

Martial left Manchester United in the summer after nine years at the club. Much of that time saw the striker frustrated by persistent injury problems and any club wanting to sign the Frenchman would be taking a big risk in hoping that he can stay fit.

Memphis Depay

The Dutchman helped his nation reach the semi-finals of Euro 2024, where they were knocked out by England, but is on the hunt for a new club after leaving Atletico Madrid. He scored nine goals in 31 games for the Spanish club last season but is another player who has struggled with injuries.

Wissam Ben Yedder

The 34-year-old had an outstanding goalscoring record during his five years at Monaco, scoring 161 times in 320 games in all competitions. He is now without a club and despite approaching the latter stages of his career, has proven he can still score goals after netting 20 in 34 games last season.

Joel Matip

Matip was a big part of the Liverpool side which was so successful under Jurgen Klopp but missed most of last season after suffering an ACL injury. It is a big injury to come back from which makes him a less attractive proposition but if he is given the time to get back fit, he could still have a lot to offer.

Andre Gomes

The Portuguese midfielder endured a frustrating spell with injuries at Everton but was once a very exciting talent at Barcelona. Still only 31, could he be worth taking a punt on?

Mats Hummels

The German centre-back played in the Champions League final with Borussia Dortmund last season and was a big part of getting the club there with some magnificent performances at the back. At 35, he is still a very good defender and would be a great addition for a lot of clubs.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting

Choupo-Moting has left Bayern Munich after four years at the club where he became an unlikely striker option for the German giants. He is not a prolific goalscorer but has qualities as a target man which make him very effective at what he does.

Sergio Ramos

The legendary Spanish defender is now 38 and without a club after leaving Sevilla. He is obviously not the player he once was but has incredible experience and showed last season he can still contribute.
