After all three players cleared waivers, the Rangers assigned them to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
Harpur actually played 42 games for the Rangers in the 2022-23 season where he recorded one goal, five assists and six points.
The 29-year-old seemed like a possible defenseman who could be given a shot to make the Rangers' opening night roster with possible injuries, but that ultimately wasn't the case.
Belzile is a player who was highly productive with the Wolf Pack last year as he tallied 19 goals, 31 assists and 50 points in 61 games. He should continue to serve a substantial role in Hartford.
Leschyshyn was drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights in the second round back in 2017 and has been with the Rangers organization for two seasons, playing a total of 14 games in the NHL for New York.
The 25-year-old had eight goals, 11 assists and 19 points in 47 games for the Wolf Pack this past season.
