Bears vs. Texans, Week 2 injury report: Thursday

The Chicago Bears (1-0) released their second injury report ahead of Sunday's Week 2 game against the Houston Texans (1-0), which featured some notable names.

There were four players who didn't practice (due to injury), including most notably wide receivers Rome Odunze (knee) and Keenan Allen (heel). Odunze suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain, and he's currently day-to-day. Meanwhile, Allen reaggravated a heel injury in last Sunday's game, and he's now missed his second straight practice.

Elsewhere, offensive lineman Ryan Bates didn't practice with a shoulder/elbow injury, after being limited Wednesday, and fullback Khari Blasingame was also out with a hand/knee injury. There was some good news. Defensive tackle Zacch Pickens was a full participant at practice, which is encouraging for his status on Sunday night. Defensive end DeMarcus Walker also returned to practice in limited fashion.
