Bears vs. Texans, Week 2 injury report: Friday

Bears vs. Texans, Week 2 injury report: Friday

The Chicago Bears (1-0) released their final injury report ahead of Sunday's Week 2 game against the Houston Texans (1-0), which featured some notable names.

There's encouraging news for Chicago's offense with wide receivers Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen both being questionable. After suffering a Grade 1 MCL sprain last Sunday, Odunze was a limited participant in Friday's practice, an indication he might suit up. Meanwhile, Allen hasn't practiced all week after reaggravating a heel injury, but he was listed as questionable so he could very well be a game-time decision.

The Bears ruled out two players for Sunday night's game: Offensive lineman Ryan Bates, who's nursing a shoulder/elbow injury, and fullback Khari Blasingame, who has hand/knee injuries.

Elsewhere, defensive end DeMarcus Walker, who's been dealing with a foot injury, has been listed as questionable after practicing in full on Friday. Offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie and defensive tackle Zacch Pickens have been removed from the injury report.
