Bears vs. Patriots: Announcers set for Week 10 game

The Chicago Bears (4-4) will face the New England Patriots (2-7) in Week 10, where Chicago is still looking to snap its two-game losing streak and extend its home winning streak to 10 games.

The Bears’ Week 10 game will air on FOX at 12 p.m. CT. The television commentators for the game are Kevin Kugler (play-by-play), Daryl Johnston (analyst) and Laura Okmin (sideline reporter).

Chicago is coming off another brutal loss, this one a 29-9 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals, which marked their second straight loss and their fourth road loss of the season. The offense failed to score a touchdown with quarterback Caleb Williams under consistent duress while the defense let Arizona not only move the ball all over them but find the end zone on several occasions. The Bears were outplayed, outcoached and lacked discipline while being unprepared for this game after a week of distractions.

Meanwhile, New England is coming off a rough loss to the Tennessee Titans, who defeated them on a field goal in overtime. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye, who returned from concussion protocol, had some late heroics to force overtime. Even after Tennessee's overtime field goal, Maye tossed an interception late to seal the win for the Titans. It marked the Patriots' seventh loss in the last eight games.

After winning three straight games, the Bears came out of the bye week unprepared, which has led to back-to-back losses. Now, Chicago is in desperate need of a victory, with the two-win Patriots coming to town, as questions linger about Matt Eberflus' future.
