Bears vs. Packers: Announcers set for Week 18 game
The Chicago Bears (4-12) will battle the Green Bay Packers (11-5) in Week 18, where Chicago is looking to snap their 10-game losing streak in their season finale.
The Bears’ Week 18 game will air Sunday on FOX at 12 p.m. CT. The television commentators for the game are Kevin Kugler (play-by-play), Daryl Johnston (analyst), Laura Okmin (sideline reporter).
The Bears are coming off an ugly 6-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. While the defense had a respectable performance -- holding the Seahawks to six points -- the offense was atrocious. They managed just a field goal 11 first downs, seven punts and 179 total yards. While Caleb Williams continued to make incredible plays, he was sacked seven times, which now totals 67 on the season, the most ever in franchise history.
Meanwhile, Green Bay is coming off a narrow 27-25 defeat to the Minnesota Vikings, where their comeback bid fell just short. Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold had a career day with 377 passing yards and three touchdowns. It was a rough day for Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who passed for 185 yards with just one touchdown and was sacked three times.
The Bears have gone 0-4 under interim head coach Thomas Brown, where they've averaged less than 12 points per game and allowed an average 27 points per game in that span. Can they finally turn things around as the season comes to a close and snap their losing streak to the Packers?
