Advice and prediction

The Bears and 49ers are both riding losing streaks -- six and three games, respectively -- and they're desperate for a win. While both teams are also banged up to a degree, San Francisco will be without several key playmakers -- running backs Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason, edge rusher Nick Bosa, offensive tackle Trent Williams, linebacker Dre Greenlaw, etc. -- that opens this game up for Chicago. Thomas Brown tales over as interim head coach for the Bears, so there's some uncertainty as he'll call his first game while also calling plays for the offense. But quarterback Caleb Williams has been on a tear in the last three weeks with Brown calling plays, and he'll be looking to continue that magic against an injury-riddled San Francisco defense. This should be a close game as the 49ers still have some weapons with Brock Purdy throwing to Deebo Samuel and George Kittle. But this Bears team is prime for a victory after losing six straight where they should've won most of them.

Prediction: Bears 24, 49ers 21
