Bears rookie Caleb Williams explains what he's looking to fix in final 2 games

With the season nearly over for the Chicago Bears, not only are they looking to snap their nine-game losing streak, but they're searching for things they can build off of going into the 2025 season.

In his rookie season, quarterback Caleb Williams has had quite the amount of impressive stats except the most important one, wins. Continuing to set franchise records as well as NFL rookie records despite the Bears’ inability to win games, Williams understands there’s still room to improve.

Speaking to the media this week, Williams was asked what he’s looking to fix in the final two games. And while he hasn't thrown an interception since Week 6, but he has lost a fumble in each of the last three games they’ve lost.

"These fumbles that I've had. ... Turnovers are a part of the game, but eliminating those helps win games," Williams said. "Cadences, helping linemen out..."

Not throwing an interception is one thing, not committing any turnovers is completely different and most important for Williams. As he has all season, Williams took the blame himself for the turnovers, and wanting to pin it on himself to help out his offensive linemen.

Williams has been the second-most sacked quarterback in the NFL this season (60), and he's also been the most sacked quarterback in Bears franchise history in a single season.

Knowing that turnovers are only going to hold back an already struggling offense, Williams wants to fix the mistakes himself, and wouldn't look to point fingers at anyone but himself as he looks to close his rookie year out on a good note.
