Bears QB Caleb Williams ends dubious No. 1 pick streak
Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams didn't have the best debut, but his team was able to help end a dubious drought when it comes to No. 1 picks at his position. With the Bears' 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans, Williams became the first quarterback picked No. 1 in the NFL Draft to win his debut.

The Bears quarterback struggled in his debut for much of the day, going 14-of-29 for 93 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions. He was carried thanks to his defense and special teams, both of which scored touchdowns.
Williams becomes the first quarterback picked No. 1 to win his first game since David Carr with the Houston Texans in 2002. That list includes players such as Alex Smith, Eli Manning, Matthew Stafford, Andrew Luck, and Trevor Lawrence.
