Bears odds: Chicago is big home underdog vs. Packers in Week 11

The Chicago Bears (4-5) will host the Green Bay Packers (6-3) in Week 11, where Chicago is looking to snap a three-game losing streak as division play kicks into gear.

Chicago is coming off an embarrassing 19-3 loss to the New England Patriots, which marked their third straight loss since the bye week. The Bears offense scored a season-low three points against one of the worst defenses in the league, allowed nine sacks to a pass rush that had 16 sacks through eight total games and were held to just 142 total yards. Chicago's defense did its part, holding New England under 20 points, but this game was lost in the first quarter with an offense that has mustered just 27 points and two touchdowns in the last three games.

Meanwhile, Green Bay is coming off a bye week, which has been hit and miss under head coach Matt LaFleur. They've gone 2-3 in games off the bye under LaFleur, although they've had later success. The Packers currently sit at 6-3 and in third place in the NFC North and primed to lock down one of those final wild card spots. The last time Green Bay faced the Bears off the bye week, they defeated them 45-30 at Lambeau Field in Dec. 2021.

The Bears have opened as 6.5-point home underdogs against the Packers in Week 11, according to BetMGM. The over/under is set at 41.

With Chicago's dysfunction and historic losing tendency against Green Bay, oddsmakers don't appear to be giving them a chance in this game. The home team is usually afforded three points, so the Bears are more like 9.5-point underdogs against the Packers. Chicago hasn't beaten Green Bay since Dec. 2018, and the way this season is going, that's not going to change anytime soon.

The Bears were favorites against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1, Los Angeles Rams in Week 4, Carolina Panthers in Week 5, Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6, Washington Commanders in Week 8 and Patriots in Week 10. They were underdogs against the Houston Texans in Week 2, Indianapolis Colts in Week 3, Arizona Cardinals in Week 9 and now Packers in Week 11.
