Bears LT Braxton Jones carted off with ankle injury vs. Lions

Injuries continue to ravage the Chicago Bears offensive line as they potentially lose two key players during their Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Left guard Teven Jenkins exited the game with a calf injury and is officially doubtful to return. Jenkins came into this game with a questionable injury designation as he practiced just once all week. Things got worse when they lost their left tackle with a potentially serious injury just a little later.

Braxton Jones got rolled up on during a fourth-down conversion and went down awkwardly. Jones needed to be carted off and had an air cast placed on his leg, which is never a good sign. He has been ruled out of the game.

In their places, Larry Borom takes over at left tackle, while Jake Curhan fills in at left guard. Rookie tackle Kiran Amegadjie, who started and struggled in Jones' place last week when he was out with a concussion, was a healthy scratch for this game.

At halftime, the Bears trail the Lions 27-14.
