Bears LS Scott Daly (knee) ruled out vs. Jaguars
The Chicago Bears will be without a crucial member of their special teams unit for the rest of the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. On the Bears' second punt of the day, long snapper Scott Daly went down with a knee injury and was quickly ruled out.

Daly was signed by the Bears at the end of training camp to replace the injured Patrick Scales while he recovers from a back injury. With him out, tight end Cole Kmet is the team's emergency long snapper and will have to fill in for the rest of the day. So far, so good though.
Kmet caught the game's first touchdown on a beautiful play design down the middle of the field and was immediately tasked with snapping the ball for the extra point. The operation went smoothly to give the Bears a 7-0 lead.
