Bears head coach tracker: Who's interviewed, who's scheduled
The Chicago Bears are conducting their search for a new head coach, and it's already been an expansive one that' approaching 20 candidates. The candidates range from up-and-coming coordinators to former head coaches to offensive minds to defensive minds and college coaches.
General manager Ryan Poles will be spearheading the search for Chicago's next head coach, with a committee that includes president Kevin Warren and chairman George McCaskey, as well as assistant GM Ian Cunningham (when available), director of football admin Matt Feinstein, senior director of player personnel Jeff King and chief HR officer Liz Geist.
As for what the Bears are looking for in their next head coach, Poles said it's "a clear vision, a developmental mindset, really good game management and a plan to develop the quarterback."
We're just a week into the coaching carousel, but it's been spinning nonstop amid interviews and continued requests. With that in mind, here's an updated look at everyone who's interviewed, scheduled to interview or requested to interview for Bears head coach.
