Bears free agency: 32 players set to hit the open market in 2025

The Chicago Bears have wrapped their 2024 season, which means the focus shifts to what's shaping up to be a crucial offseason.

Chicago has 32 players scheduled to become free agents in 2025 according to Over The Cap, including some key starters and contributors.

There are some players who could very well sign contract extension, including wide receiver Keenan Allen, guard Teven Jenkins and linebacker Jack Sanborn. But there are some big decisions to be made by general manager Ryan Poles about those three and the rest of the group of pending free agents.

When is 2025 free agency?

The 2025 free agency negotiation window begins March 10, where teams can negotiate with available players. The free agency period officially opens two days later on March 12.

The Bears will have $80.14 million in available salary cap space for the 2025 season, which is the fifth most in the NFL behind the Patriots, Raiders, Commanders and Cardinals.
