Bears fans are once again fed up with Matt Eberflus, coaching staff

The Chicago Bears entered Week 3 with a favorable schedule ahead of them to get back into the win column, beginning with the Indianapolis Colts. With Indy featuring a poor run defense and inability to generate turnovers through two weeks, this felt like a game where the Bears could get right and fix the problems that have plagued them to start the season. That didn't happen.

Indianapolis stifled the Bears' run game and forced three takeaways to win 21-16, dropping Chicago to 1-2. Though there were plenty of mistakes that aided in the loss, the Bears weren't helped by the coaching decisions made by Matt Eberflus and offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. Eberflus mismanaged timeouts and game situations, while Waldron had questionable plays on offense and couldn't get the run game going yet again.

It's more of the same for this coaching staff. Despite having more talent on the roster and adding a new offensive coordinator, it seems as if the same issues that followed this team over the last two years are still present in 2024. This has led fans to once again ask why Eberflus is still the team's head coach. Here were some of the reactions on social media:
