Bears fan buys Kevin Warren a drink with a special request
Ask and you shall receive. Chicago Bears fans have been adamant in their desire to land Ben Johnson as the team's next head coach, and the organization got it done much to the pleasure of Bears fans and displeasure to the Detroit Lions fanbase.
Johnson was introduced as the team's 19th head coach on Wednesday, where he addressed the media and several players for the first time. Bears president/CEO Kevin Warren also met with the media, and he shared a story about how a Bears fan sent him a drink recently at a restaurant with a note that asked simply: "Please hire Ben Johnson."
Warren told reporters that he looked at the note today and plans to give it to Johnson.
As if that wasn't cool enough, the fan, Jerry (@steiner1111), immediately recognized the story circulating on social media and shared the photo of said note on X (formerly Twitter) along with the nugget that Warren sent two shots back to the fans as a thank you.

Johnson, the former Lions offensive coordinator, was considered the top candidate in this coaching cycle, and the Bears even fended off the Las Vegas Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars for his services. But it didn't take Johnson long, after the Lions lost to the Washington Commanders, to choose Chicago as his next landing spot.
"I don’t think many people understand how set up for success this place is," Johnson said.
There's been a lot of excitement about what Johnson will bring to the Bears given his offensive prowess and work with quarterbacks. But the arrow is certainly pointing up with the direction of this team heading into a crucial offseason.
