Bears' DJ Moore takes accountability for frustration captured on camera vs. Texans
DJ Moore knows that not only does the Chicago Bears offense need to improve, but so does his body language. Captured on camera during the team's rough loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football, showing frustration with the lack of offensive production, Moore addressed what was seen on national TV this week.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Moore was asked about the emotions captured on camera and admitted he shouldn't have shown as much. Knowing that the game of football can come down to one make-or-break moment in the game, Moore said he recognized that the team was close to their one big play needed, but they just couldn't connect.
"I shouldn't have shown as much [frustration] but it's part of the game," Moore said. "Like I said, we were one play away from the game changing. And we just couldn't connect. Nobody on offense could connect with the one play or get the one play started to get us on track and go up. It's football. Everybody is going to have their ups and downs and their frustrations."
DJ Moore expressed he was frustrated Sunday Night due to feeling “we were one play away.”
This guy wants to win. He wants this team to have success.

Moore admitted that he didn't realize how much his emotions were captured on camera, but he believes it was blown up because of the national TV audience. He added that he used the overly captured moment as a way to reflect on himself and believes it was "too much" from him.
"I mean, looking at it, I didn't think it was [too much emotion] but you look at the TV and it's blown up, and I'm like, 'alright, that's enough,'" Moore said. "Then you can do some self-evaluation and I would say that it was too much."
Not one to put the blame on just one person, or call out of any his teammates, Moore made it known that the frustration was more about being so close in the game against Houston, and being unable to capitalize. According to the star wide receiver, there was no specific frustration with quarterback Caleb Williams or anyone else on the team, just that he felt they were one play away from taking control and just couldn't get there.
The superstar wide receiver took accountability for the management of his emotions, but it also shows he's extremely invested in this team and just wants to succeed.
