Bears' DJ Moore isn't worried about Keenan Allen injury

The Chicago Bears mounted a comeback win over the Tennessee Titans, 24-17, to improve to 1-0 on the season. But it wasn't a shining debut for this new-look offense, led by rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. In fact, the defense and special teams came to the rescue during an impressive second-half performance.

Chicago's trio of receivers -- DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and rookie Rome Odunze -- were relatively ineffective during a game where the offense couldn't manage must against a dominant Titans defensive front. Another concern was Allen appeared to reaggravate a heel injury in the second half, which had him questionable ahead of the opener.

During an appearance on 670 the Score's "Mully & Haugh," Moore didn't sound too worried about Allen. He believes Allen is "fine" and continues to deal with that nagging heal injury. He also took a friendly swipe at him in the process.

"Yeah, he's just an old man," Moore said. "...He's good."

We'll see if Allen starts the week on the injury report ahead of Sunday night's looming matchup against the Houston Texans. But the hope is Allen will be good to go as Chicago battles a talented Houston team in prime time.
