Bears DB Jaquan Brisker not traveling with team to London
The Chicago Bears departed for London on Monday evening in preparation of their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars without a key member of their defensive secondary. The team announced safety Jaquan Brisker isn't traveling with the team due to suffering a concussion that occurred during Sunday's win over the Carolina Panthers.
Bears safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion), defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin) and cornerback Terell Smith (hip) are not traveling with their team tonight to London for Sunday morning’s game vs. the Jaguars.

In the first half, Brisker laid a big hit on Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble, which caused a turnover for one of the game's biggest plays. Both players were slow to get up, and Tremble was ruled out with a concussion. Brisker remained in the game, however, and appeared to be fine. He finished the day with five total tackles and a pass breakup to go along with the forced fumble.
Monday was a different story, though. Brisker reported experiencing concussion-like symptoms and was diagnosed with the injury. It's his third concussion in the NFL. The Bears ruled him out quickly and will give him time to get healthy. They will also be without cornerback Terell Smith (hip), and defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin), who have not played in the last few weeks.
Brisker's presence will be missed on Sunday. He has had an outstanding 2024 season up to this point, and now the Bears will rely on Elijah Hicks and Jonathan Owens to pick up the slack when they take on Jacksonville.
