Bears CB Kyler Gordon gets big sack in first quarter vs. Bengals

The Chicago Bears needed a spark after a slow start in Saturday's preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and cornerback Kyler Gordon delivered.

The Bengals were methodically moving down the field during their second drive of the game, finding wide open gaps in the Bears' defense.

Defensive coordinator Eric Washington dialed up a timely cornerback blitz on second-and-10, and our friendly neighborhood Kyler-Man flew off the edge, homing in on quarterback Logan Woodside untouched and bringing him to the turf. The big defensive play gave the Bengals offense little chance to convert on the third-and-18, forcing them to punt.

Gordon, who saw his first preseason action this summer, has put together an impressive game against the Bengals. He has four tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack.
