What’s the latest with the Chicago Bears?

The Bears are gearing up for a Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, where they're looking to bounce back after two consecutive losses. If Chicago stands a chance, they're going to need their defense to continue its dominance. The defense has been solid through three games, but they'll face a challenge against veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford and breakout running back Kyren Williams.

Bears vs. Rams: 3 keys for Chicago's defense in Week 4

Though the Bears are in an early season rut, Week 4 provides an opportunity to pull off an unlikely win. The Rams come to Chicago with an injury-riddled roster, with star receivers Puka Nakua, Cooper Kupp, and several other starters all being sidelined with differing ailments. LA has admirably maximized the skillsets of the players that are available, but the Bears clearly have a leg up in talent.

Where Bears’ OC Shane Waldron ranks amongst other coordinators

The Bears interviewed at least five others for the opening coordinator position, including Klint Kubiak (New Orleans Saints), Kliff Kingsbury (Washington Commanders), Liam Coen (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Greg Roman (Los Angeles Chargers) and Zac Robinson (Atlanta Falcons). When looking at how Waldron’s offense has performed compared to the offenses of coordinators he was hired over, it's not a pretty look as they've all found more success than him through three games.
