What’s the latest with the Chicago Bears?

For those of you who went to bed after waiting over an hour for the second episode of "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears," I've got good news: Episode 2 is indeed finally available to stream on Max. And there was plenty to love: From Keenan Allen vs. Jaylon Johnson to Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze to DJ Moore's charismatic daughter to future Dr. Ian Wheeler, there was plenty to digest. We'll be recapping all of the action here on Bears Wire.

Bears fans outraged over 'Hard Knocks' delay on Max

When hundreds of thousands of viewers logged into the streaming platform, they were stunned and disappointed to find that the episode was not there. Viewers who have HBO on cable or satellite had the episode start at its original time. After over 20 minutes, Max released a statement on X saying the episode is delayed on their streaming service. They did not provide a timeframe for when the episode would release. Upon not seeing the episode available on Max, fans took to social media to see if others were having the same issue and to voice their displeasure. At least their posts provided some entertainment while everyone waited.

Bears 2024 training camp: Takeaways from Day 16

Chicago was back on the practice field for a light workout on Tuesday, which came after their dominating 33-6 preseason win over the Buffalo Bills. According to the media members in attendance, it was a light, non-padded practice where the offense had its good and bad moments. There were some notable faces ramping up for a return to full participation, including several starters on defense and rookies Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze once again put on a show.

Tuesday's practice provided the latest example of Chicago's bright future when the rookie duo of Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze connected on a 30-yard touchdown during a two-minute drill to end practice. The defense jumped, giving the offense a free play, and Williams didn't hesitate to go deep to Odunze, who put cornerback Terrell Smith on skates with his impressive route to break free for the easy score.
