Bears OC Shane Waldron takes accountability for failed 4th-and-goal
On Thursday, Waldron addressed the media for the first time after Sunday's loss, where he took full accountability for that fourth-and-goal speed option play. Waldron noted the offense needed to get to the line of scrimmage sooner to get what they wanted from the look. But he said "all those things start with me" and "I have to be better."

The offense had undeniably struggled last week, but still the gradual improvements we saw the first couple weeks continued. Most notably, the offensive line improved in pass protection and Williams made a big leap from Week 2, throwing for over 350 yards and two touchdowns.
