What’s the latest with the Chicago Bears?

The Bears continued training camp with their 14th practice on Wednesday, which was another padded workout that coach Matt Eberflus classified as a "thud day." The offense had a rough showing against a defense that dominated the day. There were also some notable players who exited Wednesday's practice with apparent injuries, including right tackle Darnell Wright, defensive tackle Andrew Billings and cornerback Terrell Smith.

Bears 2024 training camp: Takeaways from Day 14

Chicago was back in pads for their sixth open practice of training camp, which comes during game week against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. Coach Matt Eberflus teased it would be a "thud day," and it certainly cranked up the intensity. The defense had a dominant showing as the offense struggled, but there were a few standout players, including receiver Rome Odunze, running back D'Andre Swift and even receiver/running back Velus Jones Jr.

'Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears' Episode 1 recap

Bears RG Nate Davis misses another practice

Right guard Nate Davis, who signed a three-year contract last offseason, has struggled with his availability in his first year and this past offseason. He's battled injuries, and it's unfortunately continued into training camp. Davis has missed the past week of practices due to a groin injury. And while it appeared that Davis was ramping up on Tuesday, he was once again sidelined to kick off Wednesday's practice, according to several media members in attendance.
