Few scenes in sports get all the feels going the way a video of a walk-on receiving a scholarship does.

Baylor is the latest example of why, as the Bears shocked walk-on forward Jonathan Davis at the end of Wednesday’s pre-game chapel.

Davis was asked to read a story about Warriors guard Stephen Curry being a servant leader, and the end of the article — at the 12-minute mark below — contained a special kicker.

“It is the behavior of a true servant leader that makes all the difference in this life,” Davis read to his teammates. “Jesus Christ is that leader for all who have accepted the free gift of salvation through Him. And one of our own servant leaders will today receive a full scholarship.

“Congrats, Jonathan Davis.”

Cue the celebration from Davis’ Bears teammates, hours before they take on Oklahoma State.

Nicely done, Baylor.
