Bayern's Mathys Tel 'rejects' Chelsea for one frustrating reason

Bayern Munich starlet Mathys Tel has reportedly rejected a move to Chelsea.

According to BILD, the 19-year-old has rebuffed interest from the Blues due to growing competition for places among the first-team under Enzo Maresca.

Tel, who has struggled to break into Bayern's side under Vincent Kompany this season, wants to depart the Allianz Arena in search of more regular game time.

Maresca is currently well-stocked with attacking options that include Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, João Félix, and Jadon Sancho.
