Bayern Munich vs Lazio: Champions League prediction, kick-off time, team news, TV, live stream, odds today

Bayern Munich tonight must overturn a first-leg deficit against Lazio to reach the Champions League quarter-finals and avoid a likely trophyless season.

Last month's first clash hinged on Dayot Upamecano giving away a penalty, and his subsequent red card, before Lazio captain Ciro Immobile slotted home from the spot to give the Italian’s a narrow 1-0 first-leg victory.

Days later, it was confirmed that Thomas Tuchel will leave the club at the end of the season and Bayern have picked up four points from a possible nine in the league since to throw their Bundesliga title hopes into disarray.

Lazio, meanwhile, warmed up for the second leg with a chaotic loss to AC Milan which saw them handed three red cards.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Bayern Munich vs Lazio is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off tonight, Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

The match will take place at Allianz Arena.

Bayern vs Lazio prediction

Bayern have had their problems of late but have more than enough about them to overturn the one-goal deficit and reach the quarter-finals.

Harry Kane is looking for his first ever Champions League goal in a home knockout game, and you wouldn’t bet against him breaking his duck.

Bayern to win, 3-1 agg.
