Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala names Barcelona star as most impressive at Euro 2024
Bayern Munich and Germany star Jamal Musiala has this week revealed his admiration for a leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Wide-man Lamine, of course, has continued to take his place front and centre in the headlines across all of Europe over recent weeks.
As much comes with the Spaniard, still just 16, having followed up on a remarkable breakout campaign at Barcelona with an equally impressive impact at the European Championships.
Lamine was afforded starts in each of Spain’s first two group stage outings, lighting up La Roja’s right flank against both Croatia and Italy.
And, as alluded to above, one individual who was left particularly impressed by such endeavours comes in the form of Jamal Musiala.
Speaking in an interview with Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch this week, German standout Musiala was asked to name the player who has impressed him most across Euro 2024 thus far.
And the 21-year-old did not hesitate in responding:
“Lamine Yamal from Spain. I like players who are strong in 1v1 [situations], who are brave and who make the game beautiful.”
