Barcelona's Keira Walsh 'on her way' to London to complete Chelsea move

Barcelona midfielder Keira Walsh will reportedly complete a move to Chelsea before today's transfer deadline.

Walsh joined the Blaugrana in 2022 for a then-world record fee from Manchester City but has struggled to truly adapt to life at Camp Nou.

As such the Guardian claims that the England international will be heading back to the Women's Super League to join the west London outfit.

Their story reveals that the Catalan side have accepted an offer from the current WSL leaders for Walsh with the midfielder currently on her way to London to complete the deadline day move.

That's a u-turn for Barcelona who rejected an offer from Arsenal for Walsh back in the summer.

Any transfer in women's football must be completed by 23.00 GMT today.
