Barcelona starlet Pablo Torre has this weekend been the recipient of a new nickname, on the part of his teammates in Hansi Flick’s squad.

This comes owing to his performance in the club’s latest outing.

Barcelona were of course back in action last night, making the trip to minnows Barbastro for a Copa del Rey Last-32 clash.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged dominant victors, by four goals to nil.

And it was the aforementioned Torre who proved himself the star of the show, en route to Man of the Match honours at the Estadio Municipal.

Afforded a rare starting berth by boss Flick, the 21-year-old dazzled from his berth in attacking midfield, notching a goal and two assists.

It was specifically his delivery from set-pieces, one of which culminated in Robert Lewandowski nodding home, though, which earned for Torre a new nickname in Catalunya’s capital.

The likes of Héctor Fort and Eric García have today taken to social media, to liken their teammate to English football icon and former Real Madrid star David Beckham:
