Barcelona vs Atalanta – probable line-ups, where to watch on TV
Atalanta star Ademola Lookman is set to miss at least three weeks of action due to injury, meaning he’ll be ruled out of La Dea’s crucial Champions League match at Barcelona, which will determine whether they will go straight to the round-of-16 or be forced to go through the knockout phase playoff.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT) at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.
Deprived of one of his most efficient attacking options, coach Gian Piero Gasperini is expected to line up Mateo Retegui and Charles De Ketelaere up front, with Mario Pasalic behind them.
Davide Zappacosta may be getting the nod over Raoul Bellanova as a right-wing, with Martin De Roon expected to play alongside Ederson in central midfield despite his recent head injury.
Atalanta’s back-three will see Isak Hien flanked by Berat Djimsiti and Sead Kolasinac.
While the Blaugrana are already mathematically qualified for the last-16, coach Hansi Flick won’t spare stars like Lamine Yamal, Raphinha or Robert Lewandowski from taking part in the game. Former Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny will also start in goal for the occasion.
