FC Barcelona continue to run riot in La Liga as they dismantle yet another opponent that stood before them. Back at the Montjuic Stadium, expectations were high for the Catalan club to produce yet another victory. However, few could have predicted just how big of a thrashing Barcelona would give to Real Valladolid.

In a 7-0 victory that showcased exactly why Hansi Flick’s new team is one that should be feared, Barça have managed to hand out goals to most of their players as if it was free candy to be picked. With this latest win, La Blaugrana are top of the table in La Liga and in terms of individual statistics as well.

As pointed out by Mundo Deportivo, following their fourth matchday in La Liga this season, three Barcelona players currently lead the Pichichi scoring charts in Spain. With 13 goals scored across the board so far in the league, it hardly comes as surprise.

At the very top of the table, Polish ace Robert Lewandowski continues to remain the star striker that Barcelona need him to be right now. With four goals in four games, and a goal ratio of 1.05 per 90 minutes, the former Bayern Munich striker has rekindled his best version under Hansi Flick as he remains La Liga’s most prominent striking force right now.

In second, right behind Lewandowski, is Brazilian forward Raphinha now. Following his first ever career hattrick in this recent 7-0 win, the former Leeds United player now has three goals to his name in the league and is only behind Robert Lewandowski in terms of total goals scored as he takes up the second spot on the podium for now.

Lastly, even Dani Olmo now has two goals to his name in his first two games for Barça. The first was a game-winner for the Catalan giants in his debut as he came on in the second half against Rayo Vallecano, and his most recent goal was another work of art against Real Valladolid in his first full start for the team.

Lamine Yamal, on the other hand, has continued to dominate another statistic in the league. In terms of assists, he remains the undisputed king in La Liga with four to his name already. In fact, with his goal against Athletic Club as well, Yamal is the first player since Lionel Messi to have a goal contribution in each of Barça’s four opening games.

Understandably, these standings can change through the course of an entire season. However, these individual statistics combined with the club’s overall performance thus far clearly showcases an abundance of talent within the team and it shows a unified force full of players who can be game-changers for FC Barcelona in the long-run.
