Barcelona star bags goal & assist in the same game for the first time ever vs Valencia

Barcelona youngster Fermín López has on Sunday secured for himself a new personal career benchmark.

As much comes owing to his exploits in Barcelona’s latest outing.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Valencia in Catalunya’s capital.

As things stand, the Blaugrana are well on their way to a return to winning ways on the domestic front, leading by four goals to nil owing to an explosive start to proceedings.

The aforementioned Fermín, meanwhile, was afforded a rare starting berth in the clash, with Dani Olmo sidelined, Pedri sick, and Gavi afforded a rest.

And, safe to say, the 21-year-old has since taken full advantage of the opportunity.

After first laying on an assist for Raphinha to make it 3-0, Fermín turned goalscorer a short time later, courtesy of a fine first-time finish on the rebound.

And, owing to as much, the midfield starlet has reached a new career benchmark.
