The outcome of the final fixtures at international football’s two major ongoing tournaments could culminate in quite the spectacle for those of a Barcelona persuasion.

The showpieces of both the European Championships and Copa América, of course, are set to play out this weekend.

The former occasion will see Spain and England lock horns, with the latter set to be contested by Argentina, and Colombia.

And, as alluded to above, in the case of Spain and Argentina clinching glory, Barcelona’s supporters will see the club’s past, and future, pencilled in for an impending showdown.

The winners of the Euros and Copa will lock horns in the latest edition of the ‘Finalissima’, the date for which is yet to be announced.

And the clash could well see Lionel Messi go toe-to-toe for the first time ever with Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona’s greatest player of all-time, locking horns with the youngster widely labelled as the Blaugrana’s most prodigious talent since the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner.

What an occasion that could prove to be…
