Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Thursday been afforded call-ups by their respective countries.

Squads across Europe are of course set to head their separate ways once more next week.

As much comes for the November international break, the third of the campaign to date.

Amid a superb start to the term in Catalunya’s capital, a whole host of Barcelona stars, in turn, are expected to be called upon by their nations over the days ahead.

And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, two such members of Hansi Flick’s squad were amongst the first called.

First up came Robert Lewandowski, whose recent excellence in front of goal has given rise to a call-up to the Polish national team squad:

And also set to play his part in next week’s Nations League fixtures is Jules Koundé.

Fresh off notching a trio of assists en route to Barca’s Champions League drubbing of Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday, defender Koundé has been included in Didier Deschamps’ latest France squad:
