Barcelona starlet Marc Casadó announced himself firmly onto the world stage, with his performance in the club’s latest outing on Wednesday.

Barca, of course, are currently locked in action, on the continent.

And, safe to say, thus far, it has proven an outing to remember for Hansi Flick’s men.

After welcoming German heavyweights Bayern Munich to Catalunya’s capital for a Champions League clash, the Blaugrana find themselves in possession of a dominant 4-1 advantage.

Wide-man Raphinha has proven himself the undisputed star of the show to date, courtesy of a wonderfully-taken hat-trick.

Robert Lewandowski, meanwhile, was also on target, with midfielder Fermín López having notched a pair of assists on his return to the starting XI.

Up against Joshua Kimmich, a player whom Casadó has drawn regular comparisons to owing to his appearance and playing style alike, the youngster has not looked at all overawed, spraying passes short and long, whilst controlling proceedings in midfield with remarkable poise.

Casadó even managed to bag for himself an assist, courtesy of a pinpoint defence-splitting pass for Raphinha’s 2nd of the night.

Whilst the aforementioned Kimmich continues to be linked with a potential free agent move to the Camp Nou next summer, Barcelona appear to have found their own alternative at home, in Casadó…
