Barcelona one of four teams to have enquired about Javi Guerra – one formal offer on the table

Valencia youngster Javi Guerra had a breakout season last summer and it did not go unnoticed, with a number of Europe’s top clubs looking into his signing. The 21-year-old midfielder won a starting role under Ruben Baraja, and is expected to move on this summer if he wants to.

Guerra has been the subject of interest from Newcastle United and Manchester United in the past, but Diario AS say that Barcelona, Napoli, Real Sociedad and Girona are the four sides that have enquired about Guerra this summer. Manchester City, being part of the City Group with Girona, have one eye on him.

Girona and Real Sociedad are the two sides that have been most closely linked to Guerra in the last week, but the former are the only side that have made a formal offer.
