One of the main objectives of FC Barcelona in the current summer transfer window is to strengthen the team’s attack for the upcoming season. For this purpose, the Catalans have two clear candidates, i.e., Nico Williams and Dani Olmo.

Recent reports indicate that Barcelona are quite close to tying down Dani Olmo, who can rejoin the Catalan club after training at La Masia at the youth level. Meanwhile, the Blaugranes are also keeping an eye on other emerging talents in world football.

According to Mundo Deportivo, one such talent that has caught the Spanish club’s eyes is the AC Milan youngster Mattia Liberali. Barcelona are following the young forward who is proving himself to be one of the brightest jewels in the AC Milan academy.

Although Barcelona are interested in the winger, the report claims that Milan are planning to gradually incorporate him into their own first team in the upcoming season. He scored 15 goals and provided 7 assists during the last season in Milan’s youth teams.

He is currently a part of the Rossoneri squad that has traveled to the United States of America under their new coach, Paulo Fonseca, for the pre-season.

He is getting good minutes during this pre-season, and he was one of the most impressive Milanese players in their last friendly against Real Madrid, which the Italians won 1-0. Despite his good performance, Fonseca was unsure about the future pathway of the youngster’s career.

In addition to impressing with his club side, Liberali has also been a standout player for his international side. He was one of the team’s best players as Italy won the U-17 European Championship, and also featured in the Team of the Tournament.
