As reported by Mundo Deportivo, the newly unveiled second kit for the 2024-25 season is currently the most expensive football jersey in the world.

Celebrating the club’s 125th anniversary, the kit starts at €114.99 for the basic version, with the ‘Advanced Tech’ version priced at €149.99.

However, the cost can soar to €184.99 for a fully personalized shirt, complete with a player’s name, number, and the Champions League logo.

Comparatively, Real Madrid’s “Authentic” version with all the extras matches Barcelona’s at €184.99. However, Real Madrid offers more affordable options, such as a basic shirt without any patches for €99.99.

Nike, which also manufactures kits for other top clubs like PSG, Chelsea, and Liverpool, sets lower prices for these teams’ shirts, making Barcelona’s jersey the priciest among its portfolio.

Adidas, which outfits Juventus and Bayern Munich, comes close but does not surpass Barça’s pricing. Even Puma’s jerseys for teams like Manchester City and AC Milan are more affordable, despite customization options.

Barcelona’s decision to offer such a high-priced kit is an indicator that the Catalans giants are ready to maximise the economic potential of its 125th anniversary.
