Barcelona star Lamine Yamal on Saturday set an altogether noteworthy personal benchmark.
As much came by way of his contributions off the bench in Barcelona’s latest outing.
Hansi Flick’s troops endured an evening to forget on Saturday, put to the sword by four goals to two in a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.
Wide-man Lamine, for his part, was left on the bench from the off at El Sadar, afforded some much-needed rest by the Blaugrana coaching staff.
Early in the 2nd-half, though, the 17-year-old was introduced to the action by boss Flick.
And, though his side were ultimately dealt a first defeat of the campaign in Spain’s top-flight, Lamine nevertheless managed to make his presence felt, by way of a late consolation.
And, as alluded to above, in the process, the Spanish international set a head-turning statistical benchmark.
