The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona have identified a pair of potential cut-price signings for the summer of 2025.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards two Bundesliga stars as being in the sights of the Camp Nou brass.

The pair in question? Jonathan Tah, and Joshua Kimmich.

Both defender Tah and midfielder Kimmich, of course, made their way onto the radar of Barcelona this past summer, amid efforts on the part of Deco and co. to add to new boss Hansi Flick’s squad.

In the end, the German internationals stayed put with Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich respectively, set to spend the season ahead with their current clubs.

In less than 12 months’ time, however, the situation is expected to change again.

Tah, for one, has made crystal clear that he has no intention of renewing his terms at the BayArena, whilst Kimmich’s Bayern future remains up in the air.

Barcelona, in turn, are waiting in the wings, eager to bring both in with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.

As per MD:

‘2025 should be different. In fact, Barça want Tah as a free agent and have already made this known to his agent. The same goes for another player that Hansi Flick likes a lot, Joshua Kimmich.’
